Step 1: Suit Up
Put on a pair of gloves, a face mask, safety glasses and old clothes. It's about to get messy!
Step 2: Mix Up
Visit our FAQs to find out the exact ratio of our Cement & Sand Mix to water for your mould. Use a bucket and a spoon to mix together thoroughly until the consistency is even.
Step 3: Fill it Up
Spoon the wet mix into the mould. Keeping the mould upright, gently lift and drop to guide the mix to the bottom. Top it up and repeat until the mix is level with the brim of the mould.
Step 4: Get Tapping
Gently tap the sides of the mould to release air bubbles from the cement and sand mix. Continue to tap the sides until air bubbles no longer rise to the top of the wet mix.
Step 5: Wait Patiently
Place in a dry room indoors to set for at least 24 hours.
Step 6: Demould
Carefully remove your creation from the mould. Run over any rough edges with a piece of sandpaper to smooth them out. The finished product will lighten in colour over the following days.

Now this, is a cool mould. I wasn’t sure about it at first and I thought it was a little weird. The more I looked around though the more realised it was unusual and I wanted to try it. It is my biggest mould yet. It is heavy duty and requires a lot of cement but it turns out an awesome pot. It produced smooth edges with the Mould Me cement and sand mix and surprisingly captures the details and sharpness of the edges of the steps. Be careful with air bubbles in the steps but when avoided, they turn out great. This is now one of my favourite moulds. It’s very cool and can stand alone as a signature piece amongst decor. Everyone who’s seen my pot from this mould has commented on it’s quality and uniqueness. Highly recommend!
Absolutely love my planter, the silicone mould is very well made and is very easy to take out the planter once set, instructions on quantities to use is very easy to read too, cannot fault this company.
I've never seen a planter with steps so thought I would try it. Had to buy some cheap kitchen scales to weigh the mixture. Relatively easy process, absolutely love the outcome. Will be making more!
